Share VPN Credentials Securely

Transmit VPN configuration files and credentials to remote team members through encrypted, self-destructing links.

The problem

VPN credentials grant access to internal networks, corporate resources, and production systems. Sharing VPN configs over email or Slack leaves them in searchable message archives where former employees or attackers can retrieve them. A leaked VPN credential bypasses perimeter security entirely, placing an attacker inside your network.

How Vaulted helps

Vaulted encrypts your VPN configuration and credentials client-side with AES-256-GCM before generating a shareable link. The link self-destructs after the recipient views it, and the zero-knowledge design ensures the Vaulted server never has access to your VPN credentials in plaintext.

How to do it

  1. Paste your VPN configuration or credentials into Vaulted
  2. Set a one-view limit for maximum security
  3. Send the encrypted link to the remote worker who needs network access
  4. They configure their VPN client, and the link is permanently destroyed
