Share Login Credentials Securely
Share login credentials for shared accounts through encrypted links that disappear after viewing.
The problem
Shared account credentials sent over Slack or email remain in searchable histories indefinitely. When multiple people have access to a shared login, controlling who has the current password becomes impossible if it was transmitted in plaintext across multiple channels.
How Vaulted helps
Vaulted lets you share a username and password through a single encrypted link. AES-256-GCM encryption happens in your browser before transmission, and the self-destructing link ensures the credentials are only available for a limited time. No accounts or installations required for either party.
How to do it
- Enter the username and password into Vaulted
- Set a view limit and expiration that matches your needs
- Send the encrypted link to the person who needs access
- They open the link, log in, and the link self-destructs
