Terms of Service

By using Vaulted (vaulted.fyi), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Vaulted is a free tool for sharing encrypted, self-destructing secrets. You enter text, it is encrypted in your browser using AES-256-GCM, and you receive a link to share. The secret is permanently deleted when the view limit is reached or the expiration time passes.

You agree not to use Vaulted to:

• Share content that is illegal in your jurisdiction
• Distribute malware, phishing links, or harmful content
• Harass, threaten, or harm others
• Circumvent rate limits or abuse the service
• Attempt to compromise the security of the service or other users

We reserve the right to block access to the service for violations, though our zero-knowledge architecture means we cannot inspect the content of secrets.

Vaulted is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Secrets may be deleted before their intended expiration due to system maintenance, failures, or unforeseen circumstances.

Vaulted and its creator are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of data, unauthorized access to shared content, or service interruptions.

You are solely responsible for the content you encrypt and share through Vaulted. Because we use zero-knowledge encryption, we cannot access, moderate, or be held responsible for the content of secrets.

Current limits are:

• Maximum secret length: 1,000 characters
• Maximum expiration: 30 days
• Maximum views: 10 per secret
• Rate limits: 10 creates/min, 30 views/min per IP

These limits may change at any time without notice.

We make no guarantee of uptime or availability. The service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. Do not rely on Vaulted as your sole method of transmitting critical information.

Your use of Vaulted is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Vaulted after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
