Share Wi-Fi Passwords Securely
Give guests and new team members your Wi-Fi password through an encrypted link that disappears after use.
The problem
Wi-Fi passwords written on whiteboards, posted in Slack channels, or texted to guests remain visible indefinitely. Anyone who later accesses that channel or message thread gets network access. For corporate networks, this can be a gateway to internal systems.
How Vaulted helps
Vaulted encrypts the Wi-Fi password client-side with AES-256-GCM and produces a self-destructing link. You can set it to expire after one view so only the intended recipient can use it. No account is needed — just send the link and they connect.
How to do it
- Enter your Wi-Fi password into Vaulted
- Set a one-view limit so only the recipient can see it
- Send the link via text, email, or messaging app
- They view the password, connect to Wi-Fi, and the link expires
