Share Credit Card Details Securely
Share credit card numbers, CVVs, and billing details through encrypted links that self-destruct after viewing.
The problem
Credit card details sent via text, email, or chat are stored in plaintext across multiple servers and devices. A single breach of any message archive exposes the full card number, CVV, and billing information — enabling unauthorized purchases and identity theft. PCI-DSS compliance explicitly prohibits transmitting card data through unencrypted channels.
How Vaulted helps
Vaulted encrypts your card details in the browser with AES-256-GCM before they leave your device. The self-destructing link ensures the information is available only until the recipient retrieves it. Because encryption happens client-side with zero-knowledge architecture, the card details never exist in plaintext on any server.
How to do it
- Enter your credit card number, CVV, and billing details into Vaulted
- Set a one-view limit and a short expiration window
- Send the encrypted link to the trusted recipient
- They retrieve the card details, and the link self-destructs immediately
